London Football Midweek Champions League (11-a-side 2008/9)

London Football Midweek Champions League, starting October 2008 to March 2009.

ONLY for winners & runners-up teams who played on our previous 11-a-side midweek competitions.

Start: October 2008 Finish: March 2009.

Size: 16 teams divided into four groups. Teams play each other twice in the group.

Formation:

Teams will play a maximum of one match a week (Monday to Thursday).

Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final matches are knock-out.

Top two teams in each group will qualify to the quarterfinals.

Bottom two teams in each group will qualify to the Plate quarterfinals.

Teams will play a minimum of seven matches & a maximum of nine matches in the competition.

Fee Includes: Pitch hire, referee fees, administration & trophies.

Rules: All FIFA Laws of the Game rules apply.

Referees: Qualified FA Referees officiate in all cup matches (one referee & two assistants).

Match Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. (teams play a maximum of one match a week).

Match Duration: 90 minutes (18:00 to 19:30, 18:30 to 20:00, 19:00 to 20:30, 19:30 to 21:00, 20:00 to 21:30 & 20:30 to 22:00).
